Levee failure and flooding is not a New Orleans problem, nor a “sea-level” problem. That’s why Levees.org has satellite chapters in four states besides Louisiana including FL, CA, IL and OR.

And this month, Levees.org launched its sixth chapter: New York.

Its director is Brian Schaffer (New York City) with over 10 years of corporate communications experience. His leadership will help us increase our national presence and outreach. We also appointed Gabrielle Foss to the position of Assistant Director who will aide Schaffer in recruitment of new membership supporters.

Levees.org is also finalizing plans on chapters in both Connecticut and Texas!
