This weekend, Harry Shearer, director of The Big Uneasy will re-release the 90-minute documentary in what he calls Phase II.

Many remember that The Big Uneasy was released in theaters nationwide on the fifth anniversary of the Federal Flood. But even though the facts about what caused the flood were clearly laid out, Big Media still clings to a sentimental, simplistic and false first impression – massive storm, city below sea level, natural disaster.

So Mr. Shearer is re-releasing The Big Uneasy, and it all starts this weekend followed by an aggressive schedule of screenings across the nation.

The Big Uneasy speaks directly to the mission of Levees.org because it aims to explain why metro New Orleans flooded so badly during Katrina in 2005, and why everyone needs to know about it.

So we have created a short video, a trailer of sorts, to help draw attention to The Big Uneasy, a very important documentary.
