Founder Rosenthal to be featured in Book Talk with the Christian Regenhard Center

On October 9, 2020, the Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Response Studies (RaCERS) will kick off its Fall Seminar Series by featuring founder Sandy Rosenthal and her new book, Words Whispered in Water: Why the Levees Broke in Hurricane Katrina.

RaCERS is a unique applied research center focused on lessons learned and planning for large-scale incidents. It is housed at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY).

Rosenthal will discuss the relevance of her book for disaster researchers and emergency managers with Professor Glenn Corbett, former member of the Federal Advisory Committee of the National Construction Safety Team.

The event is free and open to the public, but you must register here.
