Sandy Rosenthal crowned as Queen Yolande in the Krewe of Jeanne d’Arc

Founder Sandy Rosenthal was recently crowned Queen of a prominent Mardi Gras parade––the Krewe of Jeanne d’Arc––which rolls on Twelfth Night.

In recognition of her activism and contribution to New Orleans and beyond through her work, LeveesOrg, the Krewe de Jeanne d’Arc has named Sandy Rosenthal to portray Queen Yolande in its 2026 parade.

Together we are keeping the Levees.org message alive. New Orleans deserves protecting and we will never let down our guard.
